Grozny has quickly developed into one of the most modern and safe cities in all of Russia.
A unique mixture of Papua, Palermo, Abu Dhabi and Monte Carlo.

Flights
There is currently 1 flight per day with Grozny Avia in a Yak 42 from/to Moscow-Vnukovo, plus 1 flight per day with Rusline in a Bombardier Canadair jet from/to Moscow-Domodedovo, and 2 flights per week from/to Istanbul-Sabiha Gökcen Airport. As an alternative, one can fly in modern jets to Magas (1,5 hrs drive), Vladikavkaz (2 hrs drive), Nalchik (2,5 hrs drive), Mineralnye Vody (4 hrs drive), Tbilisi (4 hrs drive plus ca. 2 hrs border crossing).
